Still life drawing and reflection 2-D October 18, 2012 1. The good and strong parts of my project are the bars of the bikes. 2. The bad parts of my project are the chains. They do not look very realistic 3. I focused on the bikes as a whole, but some of the parts on the bikes went off of the page. 4. I used one light source for my design. My major light areas are the bars of the yellow bike. My major dark areas are the tires and the seats. 5. I erased different areas of shading on the bars and tires to make it look more 3-d. I also made the edges darker. 6. I learned to think small and draw small. If you have a large problem in life you can think small of the problem and work your way slowly. 7. I chose the angle of the bikes that I wanted and then I just started to draw from where I sat in the room. 8. Yes, this is a worthwhile project it shows you how to make something that is 3-D into something that is 2-D. It is an important skill in drawing.
